Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) to inform visitors of stanmekanizma.com and people who contact us how their personal data is processed. The Turkish version prevails.

1. Data controller

2. Personal data we process

  • Contact and quote requests: name, company, email address, phone number, country / city, postal address (when a printed catalogue is requested), order code, options, quantity and message you send through the quote form, by email or by phone, together with the page, language and time of submission. Forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to filter automated submissions.
  • Catalogue and stay-informed form: The catalogue downloads from the site without registration; the sign-up on the catalogue page is optional. Stay-informed form: your company, full name, email and optional phone / city are processed only to send you news about new products and catalogue editions; you can unsubscribe at any time by writing to [email protected].
  • Server access logs: IP address, date and time, requested page and browser details recorded by the hosting infrastructure for security and operation.
  • Fonts: the fonts on this site are served from our own server; no third-party font service is used.
  • Cookies and measurement: see “Cookies and similar technologies” below; non-essential tools run only with your consent.

3. Purposes

  • Answering your quote, order and product questions, preparing quotes and entering into contracts
  • Managing customer relations: order, delivery and after-sales communication
  • Meeting legal obligations such as commercial and tax record keeping
  • Keeping the site secure and running
  • Sending news about new products and catalogue editions to those who sign up through the stay-informed form (optional; not needed to download the catalogue)

4. Legal grounds

Under KVKK Article 5/2, your data is processed because it is directly necessary for entering into or performing a contract (c), for us to meet a legal obligation (ç), and for our legitimate interests provided your fundamental rights are not harmed (f).

5. Transfers

  • Cloudflare (hosting, form processing, bot check, measurement): the site is served on Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages). Server access logs, the server function that processes form data, the bot check on forms (Cloudflare Turnstile), cookieless visit measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics) and delivery of the catalogue file take place on this infrastructure; servers may be outside Türkiye.
  • Google (customer record sheet): form data is written as a backup record to our customer sheet on Google Workspace / Google Sheets; Google’s servers may be outside Türkiye.
  • Customer relations and automation server: form data is passed to customer relationship management (CRM) and workflow automation software running on a server we rent in a data centre in the European Union (Germany / Austria) and manage ourselves. The server provider does not access the data; it only provides the infrastructure.
  • Resend (transactional email): form notifications and catalogue download emails may be sent through Resend, an email delivery service using servers in the European Union region.
  • Email service provider: emails you send us are stored on our email provider’s servers.
  • Authorities: public bodies, only where required by law and only as far as required.

Transfers abroad are made within the conditions set out in KVKK Article 9, on the basis of the standard contracts announced by the Personal Data Protection Board, concluded with the service providers concerned.

6. How we collect data

You provide the data by email, phone or the quote form; server access logs are collected automatically by the hosting infrastructure.

7. Retention

Records of customers we do business with are kept for the period required by law (generally 10 years for commercial books and documents). Contact and quote requests that do not lead to business are deleted or anonymised after at most 2 years. Server access logs are kept only as long as the hosting provider retains them for security.

8. Your rights under KVKK Article 11

  • To learn whether your personal data is processed
  • To request information about the processing
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly
  • To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred
  • To ask for correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
  • To ask for deletion or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Article 7
  • To ask that corrections, deletions or destructions be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to
  • To object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis
  • To claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing

9. How to apply

Send your request in writing to our address above or to [email protected], stating your identity and your request clearly. We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the request involves additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply. If you find our answer insufficient, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board under Article 14 of the Law.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

  • Necessary: your language choice (“stan-dil”) and cookie choice (“stan-cerez”) are kept in your browser’s local storage; the site needs them to work as you chose. They are not sent to us.
  • Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics may be used to count visits. It uses no cookies, does not identify visitors and builds no profiles; it only produces aggregate counts (cookieless measurement).
  • Marketing (company identification): only if you consent with “Accept all”, a third-party visitor identification service (e.g. Apollo.io, USA) identifies the visiting organisation from your IP address; your IP address and page views are then transferred to this provider abroad (KVKK Art. 9, explicit consent). Without consent the tool is never loaded.
